Capsum is based in France but its mission is to operate internationally. The 3 members of the founding team are all extremely mobile and based on both sides of the Atlantic. CEO / Sébastien Bardon has an engineering degree from ESPCI, a PhD in physics from the Collège de France, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Scientific advisor / Prof. Jérôme Bibette was hired by Pierre-Gilles de Gennes, 1991 Physics Nobel prize-winner, to direct a materials laboratory at the Ecole de Physique et Chimie in Paris. Scientific advisor / Prof. David Weitz is director of the Materials Research Center at Harvard University in the United States. An internationally renowned scientist, he is a pioneer in the field of microfluidics.
